COLTENE is a world-wide leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of dental consumables. The products are sold under the well-known brand name of Coltène/Whaledent.
COLTENE evolved in 2006 from the former Health Care Division of Gurit-Heberlein, a Swiss industrial Group. The Health Care business of Gurit-Heberlein was made financially independent and listed as Medisize Holding AG on SIX Swiss Exchange on June 23, 2006. With the sale of the entire medical business effective as at the end of April 2008, COLTENE is now a true pure-play dental company.
